10 days to go until that big torch gets lit and the races begin. For us sailors, it's hard to keep up with the races especially when they're all the way in Beijing and you need complex cable to follow the coverage at 3AM once a week (come on, we've all done it once). However, ISAF has [finally] come out with a microsite that gives us updates to the minute. Just hit up www.sailing.org/olympics. Pretty easy to remember, huh? Well, they've got it all. Not only do they bring us virtually onto the race course with results, pictures and videos but ISAF goes the extra mile (or for some, kilometer) and gives us bios on every sailor from every country, game history, class info, tactics, a detailed calendar, and for our less experienced racers they have even provided a Beginners Guide to Sailing. How thoughtful.
So even though we've got a little over a week until the first gun goes off, there's still a ton of sick stuff to look at. Guarenteed you might even pick up a few things in their sailing guide ;-) Enjoy!
